Rhubarb-strawberry cake/ rabarberi-maasika kook

I haven´t shared any recipes for a while and so here is one very very simple rhubarb-strawberry cake recipe. I made this cake actually last week for my little mr.R´s tiny birthday (he is 1 year and 9 months old now 🙂 )

Ma ei ole tükk aega enam retsepte jaganud siin blogis. Täna aga tahan teiega jagada enda lihtsat rabarberi-maasika koogi retsepti. Seda kooki tegin viimati eelmisel nädalal, kui väike mr.R sai aasta ja 9 kuuseks. 

Rhubarb strawberry cake

Ingredients (I was using oven pan 25x34x1cm. Depending on the size of the oven pan or cake pan you are using you will need more of everything):

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsp of sugar
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • rhubarb and strawberries ( I used wild strawberries)

How I make it:

Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C and put grease-proof paper into the cake pan. Separate egg yolks from egg whites, add half of the sugar to yolks and half to whites and beat them separately. Then mix them together and add flour. Next pour the dough to your cake pan and add rhubarb and strawberries. Put the cake into the preheated oven and bake. Since I had small cake pan then I baked it for about 12-13 minutes, but if you are using bigger pan and you have more cake dough then you have to bake it longer.

Vaja läheb (mina kasutasin ahjupanni mõõtudega 25x34x1cm. Olenevalt kui suurt koogivormi või ahjuplaati te kasutate, siis tuleb kõiki koguseid vastavalt suurendada):

  • 4 muna
  • 4 spl suhkrut
  • 4 spl jahu
  • rabarbereid ja maasikaid (mina kasutasin metsmaasikaid)

Kuidas ma seda teen:

Eelsoojenda ahi 200C juurde ja vooderda koogivrom küpsetuspaberiga. Eralda munavalged munakollastest, lisa pool suhkrut valgetele ja pool kollastele ja vahusta eraldi. Kui valged ja kollased on vahustatud sega nad kokku ja lisa jahu. Edasi kalla taigen vormi ning siis lisa rabarberid ja maasikad. Järgmiseks läheb kook eelsoojendatud ahju küpsema. Kuna mina kastasin tillukest ahjuplaati, siis mina küpsetasin kooki 200c juures 12-13 minutit, kui sinul on suurem vorm ja suurem kogus tainast tuleb pikendada ka küpsetamisaega.
