#HePicksMyPolish 3: striped nails

Hi! Today I´m showing you another #HePicksMyPolish manicure where I used 3 nail polishes chosen (actually more liked randomly picked) by little mr.R. So this time he picked these three nail polishes.

Hei! Täna näitan teile enda #HePicksMyPolish teemalist küünedisaini, kus kasutasin kolme väikese mr.R poolt valitud (või siis pigem suvaliselt minu küünelakkide sahtlist haaratud) küünelakki. Seekord valis ta siis need lakid.

Little mr.R chose Funky Fingers Monster Ballai, Maybelline Colorama #181 and China Glaze Blonde Bombshell (seen here). I like all these nail polishes, but ar first I had no idea what to  create with these. Dots? Stripes? Something geometric? Ombre? Finally I decided to do stripes.

Seekord valis väike mr.R Funky Fingers laki Monster Ballai, Maybelline Colorama laki #181 ja China Glaze laki Blonde Bombshell. Mulle meeldivad kõik need kolm küünelakki, ent alguses polnud mul ühtegi ideed, mida nendega peale hakata. Kas teha täppe? Triipe? Midagi geomeetrilist? Ombret? Lõpuks otsustasin triipude kasuks.

How I created my #HePicksMyPolish striped manicure

I started my manicure with two coats of Maybelline Colorama #181 nail polish. Then I draw the thick glittery line using China Glaze Blonde Bombshell. Then I added two dark pink stripes using nail art brush and Funky Fingers Monster Ballai. I finished my manicure with a coat of Essie Good To Go top coat. This time I free-handed all the lines and so they don´t look that perfect 😛

Alustasin 2 kihi Maybelline Colorama laki #181. Edasi tegin jämeda litter triibu kasutades China Glaze lakki Blonde Bombshell. Järgmiseks tegin lisasin tumeroosad triibud kasutades küünemaalingu pintslit ja Funky Fingers lakki Monster Ballai. Maniküüri viimane etapp oli kiht Essie Good To Go pealislakki. Seekord ma sirgete triipude saamiseks küünemaalinguteipi ei kasutanud ja seega said jooned kohati võibolla veidi kõverad.

    This is gorgeous! Definitely not colors I would’ve put together, but I love what you came up with!

    I would probably try a pink tip using that yellow base. Very cute what you created 🙂

      I just had to do something with the sparkle and that was the only thing I came up with 😀

    I wish I could freehand lines anywhere close to that good haha

      I have some better days, but usually my freehand lines are quite…. not that straight and thats why I prefer using striping tape.

    That’s a tricky combo to do, especially with the glitter, but I think you made a good call with the stripes. I’m not sure what I’d do honestly. I love the colors thought, he picked some pretty ones for Spring!

      Thanks! Yeah great colors, but it was difficult to figure out what to create with these.

    Great job! I think my husband’s head would pop off if he had to choose from all my polishes! I usually ask him to pick my pedi polish, though, and he gets something off my desk, if I don’t give him a specific one. He’s getting pretty good at picking ones he likes, though.

      Yes, little mr.R is my 19months old son 🙂 And he loves playing with my nail polishes (even though I´m not fond of it) 😛
