Hi! Today I want to show you a gorgeous yellow nail polish from Avon. Avon Gel Finish nail polish in Limoncello was the first Avon nail polish that caught my attention because it just looked so pretty in the catalogue and since lately I have been loving yellow nail polishes then I just had to have it.
Hei! Täna tahan teile näidata ilusat kollast Avoni küünelakki. Avon Gel Finish lakk toonis Limoncello oli esimene Avon´i lakk, mis köitis minu tähelepanu, kui kataloogi sirvisin ning kuna viimasel ajal on mulle kollased lakid meeldima hakanud, siis pidin selle endale saama.
This is pretty yellow nail polish and I like that it contains tiny little shimmering particles which just make this nail polish look stunning in direct sunlight (unfortunately I don´t have any photos taken in sunlight right now 🙁 ) The formula of Avon Gel Finish nail polish in Limoncello ain´t that great. On my nails you can see three (3) coats of Limoncello + Essie Good To Go top coat. Why? Because this formula sucks! The first coat looked really patchy, uneven and streaky (but at least it dried pretty fast). The second coat looked better, but there were still visible strikes and it took longer to dry (which is actually normal). To achieve pretty & opaque result I added third coat of Limoncello to my nails and since it took so long to dry then I also added Essie top coat.
Limoncello on kaunis kollane lakk, mis sisaldab tillukesi sädelevaid osakesi. Päikesevalguses nägid mu küüned selle lakiga välja eriti ilusad! Kahjuks, aga jätab see lakk veidi soovida. Minu küüntel näete te 3 kihti Limoncellot + Essie Good To Go pealislakki. Miks? Sest see koostis sakib :S Esimene kiht lakki jäi väga laiguline ja triibuline (aga vähemalt kuivas ruttu). Teine kiht nägi juba parem välja, ent ikka oli siin-seal kohati näha ebaühtlaseid kohti. Saavutamaks ilus ühtlane tulemus otsusasingi küüntele kanda kolmanda lakikihi ja kuna laki kuivamine võttis meeletult aega, siis lisasin lõpuks ka veel kiirkuivatava pealislaki.
Avon Gel Finish küünelakke saab osta Avon´i konsultantide kaudu. Valikus on 24 tooni. Minul on neist olemas 10 tooni (Sheer Love, Parfait Pink, Fabulous, Sterling, Lavender Sky, Purplicious, Limoncello, Glimmer, Royal Vendetta ja Envy).

I usually don’t like yellow but that is a lovely shade and looks pretty.
I used to hate yellow 😀 but then something happened and I started loving it 😀
Have not used Avon nail polish lately….must try it again. This gel polish is gorgeous.
That’s ashame that it was a tough formula, I feel like a lot of yellows are tough! It looks lovely on you though, so you did get it to work beautifully for you 🙂
Gah! I hate when the color is pretty but the formula sucks! Yellows are tough tho, but at 3 coats if it isn’t perfect it’s a loser. 🙁
the manicure is magically perfect. it is like retouched photos, but i know it is real. about the yellow color i have never had a chance to try a nice shade of it. this shade is amazing.

Mulle meeldiks ka kollane küüntel, kuid olen omanud vähemalt 4 eri firma kollast lakki ning ühegiga ei saanud ilusat tulemust…Kahjul, et ka Avon pole lahendust selles osas leidnud.

I rarely wear yellow polish on its own for that reason – hard to find a great formula! Zoya Pippa is probably the best yellow I have, and my go-to for nail art. Avon polishes are pretty, but they take sooo long to dry on me!
