#HePicksMyPolish nail art 2: nail polishes chosen by little mr.R

April 23, 2014 By Miss L

Hi! Today I have #HePicksMyPolish nail art for you. This time the nail polishes were chosen by my 19months old son. He loves playing with my nail polishes (I´m not fond of it unfortunately) and so last week he was playing with them again (he takes them out the drawer and then puts back, and then takes out and then puts back …..) and he started handing me nail polishes and he gave me these three (Orly Peachy Parrot, OPI Alpine Snow, W.I.C by Herome Kontiki Beach). Since at that point I didn´t have any good ideas for my next manicure anyway then I decided to use the polishes little mr.R gave me.

Hei!

I have to say that little mr.R chose (ok handed me) really great polishes that look great together. The polishes he picked were Orly Peachy Parrot (seen here), W.I.C by Herome Kontiki Beach (seen here) and OPI Alpine Snow (seen here).

I had a couple of ideas what to do with these three shades, but I decided to do sponging. This time I used tiny eyeshadow applicator for sponging. I started my manicure with 2 coats of W.I.C by Herome Kontiki Beach and then I started adding Peachy Parrot, Alpine Snow  and also Kontiki Beach with the little applicator. I repeated the sponging as long as I was happy with the result. I finished my manicure with  a coat of Essie Good To Go top coat.

Alustasin ma enda maniküüri 2 W.I.C by Herome Kontiki Beach lakikihiga. Maniküüri viimaseks sammuks oli kiirkuivatav pealislakk, milleks seekord oli Essie Good To Go.

Ok! ADORABLE polish picker! And I love the mani! The colors really went so well together! And using those sponge-tip applicators gives them new life in my world, because I disregard them in eyeshadow palettes! Thanks!!!!

I don´t use those little applicators either and so I wanted to find a way to use them – and this worked out fine.
