Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle review

My today´s review is about a product which I also mentioned in my February favorites post – Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle. I ordered it from iHerb.com because my skin became this winter so dull and tired looking and so I hoped that maybe some kind of Glycolic AHA cream or lotion would help. After searching on iHerb website I found Neoteric Cosmetics Inc products and even though I hadn´t heard of the company before nor there wasn´t many reviews either I decided to give them a try.

Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle comes in plastic tube with screw cap and contains 45g of product. The souffle itself looks like a typcial cream – white and creamy. I like that it doesn´t have any scent.

I have used Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle over a month (now it is unfortunately empty, but I already have a replacement for it ;)) For the first 3 weeks I used this product twice a day. In the mornings I used it with Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox Sheer Silk Moisturizer which contains SPF15 and at night I combined it with Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox Night Replenishing Cream.

 On the first two days I did not notice anything special after I had applied this cream on my face. There was mild stinging feeling, but that´s it. On the third and fourth day I was working out and then during my workout sessions I felt quite strong stinging feeling on my face from time to time. On the fifth day some skin started coming off my chin. On the second and third week I had couple of more spots on my face where the skin was coming off, but with some extra moisturising cream you didn´t even notice it.

Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle made skin looking so much better. It seemed like there were less fine lines. Also my skin looked brighter, fresh, smooth and it was moisturised. I was afraid that my skin might break out or smth, but luckily I had no problems with that and also it did not burn my skin ( I was afraid of that).

Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle suited my normal to dry skin type well without causing any problems. I wouldn´t recommend it to those with sensitive skin. If you haven´t used this kind of Glycolic acid products before then I would suggest starting with something that doesn´t contain that much AHA acid.

Also when using Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle with other creams that are not from Neoteric Cosmetics Inc, then I advise you to try first on your arm how they will react together. For example I managed to apply some Earth Science Active Age Defense i-Cream Nourishing Eye Care over the AHA souffle and the result was very red and there was very strong stinging feeling.

In conclusion I liked Neoteric Cosmetics Inc Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle a lot and I will be purchasing it in the future, too.
