I have praised Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm more than once, but I’ve actually never written a separate post about it. Anyway here it finally comes! I received Dr. PawPaw Original balm in my Lookfantastic Beauty Box February 2015 box. I had never heard of the brand or this product before and so although it came with all those pretty promises, I wasn’t sure if its any good.
Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm is made in the UK. It is made of a variety of natural ingredients including paw paw, which, blended together, create a multi-purpose formula. The main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw, which is the fruit of the plant Carica Papaya. The Pawpaw has been found to have natural healing qualities and is believed by many to be the finest natural medicine yet discovered. It has a variety of uses, from skin protector and moisturizer to nappy cream and lip finisher. The balm also has healing properties and it can be used on sun burn, skin irritations and as a hair conditioning treatment.
Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm is clear, thick balm without any noticeable scent. Once applied onto skin it absorbs rather quickly leaving skin soft and nourished. This balm is amazing! It works great for soothing dry lips – just apply some balm on your lips in the evening and wake up with nourished lips that are not cracked any more. I also love it as a cuticle balm, because it seems to keep my cuticles moisturised longer than any other cuticle cream or oil that I’ve used so far. I have also tested it on my hair and it works great on my dry ends – but be aware! – don’t use too much!
Whenever I have runny nose it usually ends up for me with red, dry and sore nose area. I have tested different creams and balms to save my eye area from that nightmare, but many of the creams sting or hurt. I love that Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm is one of the few balms that keep my nose area moisturised and nourished during those runny-nose-periods and it doesn’t irritate my irritated nose area even more.
Overall I LOVE this Dr. PawPaw balm, because it really works well for me!
