OPI Live And Let Die

In October we visited The Netherlands (which reminds me I should do a post about it) and on our way back I had time to do some shopping at Airport Weeze duty free shop. I usually don’t buy much from these shops and I was sure that I’m not going to buy anything from that airport either, because it is a small airport i the middle of nowhere. But for my great surprise I ended up buying some OPI nail polishes (because they were on sale 😛 ) and Lancome Lip Gloss 😛 One of the first nail polishes that landed in my shopping basket was OPI Live And Let Die. Although this nail polish is from OPI Holiday 2012 Skyfall collection, then I really don’t care because it just looked so pretty in the bottle and so I knew I have to have it!

On my nails you can see  two coats of OPI Live And Let Die applied over Révérence de Bastien base coat and finished with INM Out The Door quick drying top coat.

OPI Live And Let Die

Live And Let Die is beautiful very dark blackened green nail polish with green and golden shimmer. It has good formula and it looked opaque in one coat, but I added second coat in the hopes to achieve better result. I am bit disappointed because it looks stunning in the bottle, but the green/golden shimmer just doesn’t translate onto my nails 🙁 It still looks pretty, but yeah, I did hope a better result.

Overall, although Live And Let Die doesn’t look on my nails as shimmery as in the bottle, I still like it 🙂
