Review: Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Eye Contour Care

Here is another great product from Institut Arnaud. I have previously reviewed their Youthful Radiance Day Cream, Perle & Caviar Premium Global Day Cream and Gentle Foam with Poppy Flower. All these products have been something I would probably purchase again. Youthful Radiance Eye Contour Care is no exception I just LOVED IT! I received 2x2ml samples of this eye cream in my month of July Glambox. Since a little product goes a long way then I was able to use these samples about 3 weeks twice a day.

Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Eye Contour Care is meant for women between age 25-35 whose first wrinkles start to appear on their eye area. This cream is promised to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time while minimizing under-eye dark circles and puffiness.

The cream has very light formula that absorbs quickly and doesn´t leave any greasy residue around the eye area. The scent of the eye cream is barely noticeable.

Likes and dislikes
What I like about Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Eye Cream
- it has barely noticeable scent
- light formula that absorbs quickly
- doesn´t leave eye area greasy
- moisturises my eye area all day
- didn´t irritate my eye area
- I didn´t notice any under-eye dark circles while using it

What I don´t like:
I liked everything :P

Would I purchase it?
Yes I would. I loved everything about this product, especially that it absorbed very quickly.

Have you tried Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Eye Contour Care?

31 Day Challenge: Day 4 - GREEN nails

Today´s challenge mani was a challenge. Why? Because I discovered that I don´t have very mani green nail polishes :S Anyway I decided to use China Glaze I´m With the Lifeguard for this mani and pair it with Funky Fingers Stage Dive and do a glitter sandwich.
photo taken in outside. No sun unfortunately :(
For this mani I first applied two coats on China Glaze I´m With the Lifeguard. Then I added 1 coat on Funky Fingers Stage Dive and again 1 coat of I´m With the Lifeguard. I finished the mani with 1 coat of Poshe top coat.

Review: The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner

I bought The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner in travel size in July. Rainforest Radiance products are meant for coloured hair. I have used them 1,5 months and I just LOVE these two products and I am happy that I decided to try them.

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Shampoo
Rainforest Radiance Shampoo for coloured hair is promised to gently cleanse all the dulling residues for prolonged color radiance. The shampoo contains UV filter, but it is free of parabens, sulphates, silicones and colourants. This shampoo comes in 3 sizes: 60ml, 250ml and 400ml. The small size that I own costs €3.30.

Ingredients:
Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Sucrose (Depilatory Agent), Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate (Surfactant), Lauryl Betaine (Surfactant), Laureth-5 Carboxylic Acid (Surfactant - Cleansing Agent), Sodium Chloride (Viscosity Modifier), PEG-55 Propylene Glycol Oleate (Surfactant), Propylene Glycol (Humectant), Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Glycerin (Humectant), Parfum (Fragrance), Sucrose Laurate (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Isopropyl Alcohol (Solvent), Polyquaternium-6 (Conditioner), Salicylic Acid (Preservative/Hair Conditioner), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster), Pentaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Sunscreen), Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil (Fragrance Ingredient), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Tocopherol (Antioxidant)
The shampoo itself doesn´t have color and it has really delicious blueberry scent.

Likes & dislikes:
What I like:
- makes my blonde hair clean without making them too dry
- delicious blueberry scent
- doesn´t make my scalp itchy
- together with the conditioner gave my hair some body and volume, especially if I used blow dryer.
- my hair stayed clean for longer period of time
- contains UV filter
- my blonde hair color stayed pretty (of course I was using some other products too, but I hope this shampoo helped too :P)

What I don´t like:
- doesn´t lather as well as some other shampoos, but since it doesn´t contain all those chemicals then it is pretty normal.

Would I purchase it again?
YES!!! I loved this shampoo. I was bit hesitant at first because some natural shampoos can´t really do anything when you have coloured or highlighted hair and so I wasn´t very sure if this works for my hair.

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Conditioner
This conditioner is promised to moisturise the hair and protect their color and shine. It doesn´t contain parabens, silicones nor colourants. It also comes in three sizes: 60 ml, 250ml and 400ml.

Ingredients:
Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate (Antistatic Agent), Glycine Soja Oil (Emollient/Skin Conditioner), Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Glycerin (Humectant), Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Sucrose Laurate (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Hydroxypropyl Guar (Emulsion stabilizer, Viscocity increasing agent), Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil (Fragrance Ingredient), Salicylic Acid (Preservative/Hair Conditioner), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Skin Conditioning Agent), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Sunscreen), Pentaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster), Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Tocopherol (Antioxidant).

Likes &dislikes
What I liked:
- makes my hair soft, shiny and easily manageable
- with the shampoo, it gave my hair body and volume, especially if I used blow dryer.
- it has delicious blueberry scent
- doesn´t weigh my hair down

What I didn´t like:
-  it is difficult to get the conditioner out of the bottle (at least from this small 60ml bottle), especially if the bottle is getting empty.

Would I purchase it again?
Yes I would. I liked the way my hair felt after using it.

Have you used these products from The Body Shop or any other The Body Shop hair care products?

31 Day Challenge: Day 3 - YELLOW nails

So the third challenge mani. I had great idea with this mani, but it was just one of those days when things just go wrong. So what went wrong? First of all I used Lumene Natural Code nail polish in Get Color. I have complained about this nail polish before and here we go again: I LOVE LOVE the shade, but the formula sucks. I just takes forever to dry and the application ain´t the easiest either. For this mani I used 2-3 coats of Lumene nail polish. Then I sponged China Glaze Blonde Bombshell on tips of my nails. After that I applied one coat of Poshe, because I really had to get the nail polish dry somehow.

Onto the stamping. I used N.NAIL Stamping Image plate SPPMB26 from KKCenterHk for the images. I LOVE this image plate. The quality of this is great and there was really no problems with getting the images on my nails. This is just perfect stamping image plate for summer time and summer nails. But as you can see there is some smearing on my nails. That is because of the top coat I applied after stamping - LCN Speed Dry top coat.
Products used:
- China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
- Lumene Natural Code nail polish in Get Color
- China Glaze Blonde Bombshell
- Poshe Top Coat
- Stamping image plate SPPMB26 from KKCenterHk
- red & black stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store
- LCN Speed Dry top coat

Review: Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Day Cream SPF5

I received 2 samples of Institut Arnaud Youthful Radiance Day Cream SPF5 in my month of July Glambox.  I used it for 1,5 weeks and so this review won´t be very long.
This day cream is for women in age between 25-35 who wish to fight against the first signs of ageing: wrinkles, sagging, dry skin and loss of firmness. This cream is suitable for all skin types. It also contains sunscreen for everyday protection.

 Information and ingredients:

This day cream has light formula that is easy to apply and it absorbs quickly. It has almost unnoticeable scent.
Likes & dislikes:
What I like about it:
- light formula
- barely noticeable scent
- easy to apply on face and it absorbs quickly
- skin feels very soft, smooth and well moisturised
- skin won´t be shiny after using it
- moisturises my skin all day
- didn´t cause me any problems with my skin

What I don´t like:
- it does contain sunscreen, but in my opinion SPF5 is just not enough
- might leave skin feeling oily or greasy when your skin is oily.

Would I purchase it:
Well I actually quite liked it, so I maybe I would.

.... and the winner of my giveaway is....

On Monday ended my giveaway. This time there were 5,012 entries total. WOW! Thank you all who entered.

So who is the lucky winner?

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Congratulations to simera h.

I will email you and you have 48h to respond.

Don´t worry if you didn´t win this time, because there are more giveaways coming in the near future ;)

Lately I have bought & received

I actually haven´t bought much this month. But here is my tiny haul and also one giveaway win and something that was sent to me and over which I am very excited about.

From one of my favorite online store feelunique.com I ordered this Palmer´s Firming Butter. I am planning to start using it after my baby has born.

MUA had amazing offer in August when they offered 25% off from everything on their site and also free shipping WW. I didn´t order much and now I am sorry that I didn´t :S I have no idea what was I thinking when I didn´t crab more stuff :S  Anyway what I ordered was Gel Eyeliner in Underground, Every Lash Mascara and Glitter Eyeliner in shade 10. I actually ordered something more from there - but since this something will be a part of my next giveaway then I won´t tell you what it is :P

I also managed to win a giveaway over at Endless Summer blog. So about two weeks ago I received the prize. I received some beauty products that are made in Russia. I have already used the mascara (the first from the left) and first impressions are good. I hope I have time to test everything else too soon.

And last, but not least I received this amazing brush set from Royal & Langnickel. So this is Royal & Langnickel Silk Synthetic Hair 12pc Set. This was sent for me for reviewing purposes and I hope I manage to do the review by the end of September. My first impressions of this set.... AMAZING. I have used some of the brushes from this set and so far I like them a lot.

Review: Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

I ordered Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara from iHerb.com in June and I have been using it for 1,5 months. It costs $9.55 there. This mascara is 100% natural and it is promised to give you big, thick and dramatic lashes......

Information from the packaging

Ingredients:

So as you can see from the information from the packaging and ingredients list this is 100% natural mascara that is free of harsh chemicals, synthetic colors, fragrances and preservatives. It is fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

The wand of Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara is HUGE! I thought that L´Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara wand is big, but that one is even bigger. Because of that I was little bit scared that I might like hurt my eye while applying mascara. Fortunately that hasn´t happened so far :P

Some looks where I have used Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara. For these looks I used one coat of mascara.

Likes & dislikes:
What I like about it:
- I LOVE that it is natural!
- gives my lashes nice deep black color
- doesn´t flake or smudge
- doesn´t clump lashes together
- stays nicely all day
- easy to remove
- gives my lashes bit length
- doesn´t irritate my eyes

What I don´t like:
- not suitable when the weather it humid
- crying is not advised while wearing this mascara :P
- didn´t give me dramatic lashes
- the mascara wand is huge so you have to be careful when applying the mascara

Would I purchase it again?
Actually I would, because I love the fact that it is natural and for everyday use this mascara is perfect (if it is not raining :P)

Have you used Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara or any other products by them?

If you haven´t ordered from iHerb.com before then with code ROH837 you can save $5 from your very first order. When your order is more than $40 then with this code you will save $10!

- China Glaze Velvet Bow
