Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover

I bought Nivea Visage Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover, because I needed make-up remover fast and here where I live at the moment (small pointless town) I couldn´t find anything better. I have never had good experiences with Nivea eye make-up removers so I wasn´t expecting much from this product either, but for my surprise it is actually pretty good. No, it is not in my favourites list, but it works fine and I can´t really complain about anything. 

 Nivea Visage Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover is suitable for all skin types and it is promised to remove even waterproof makeup. Its caring formula is promised to protect eye lashes and it is suitable for even for sensitive eye area.

My opinion about it:

What I like:

- removes non-waterproof makeup easily (since I don´t own any waterproof mascaras, then I can´t comment how it removes waterproof eye make-up)

- easy to use - just shake and put some on cotton bad

- when removing makeup I don´t have to rub 

- with very light scent

- didn´t irritate eye area nor didn´t make my eyes watery

What I didn´t like:

- if it gets in your eye then it will hurt a bit

- leaves eye area greasy/oily

In conclusion: it is an ok product. It works fine and so had to buy it again then I probably would.

Nivea meigieemaldajatega pole mul positiivseid kogemusi olnud ja seega ei olnud mul ka sellele tootele erilisi ootusi. Minu üllatuseks osutus see aga täitsa heaks. Minu lemmikute nimekirja ta siiski ei pääse, kuigi ta töötab hästi ja millegi üle nagu kurta ka ei saa.

- eemaldas mitte veekindla silmameigi lihtsalt (kuna mul veekindlaid tooteid kasutuses pole, siis ei oska seda kommenteerida, kuidas ta veekindlat ripsmekat eemaldab)

- lihtne kasutada: raputa ja pane vatipadjale

- meigi eemaldamisel ei pea hõõruma

- väga õrna lõhnaga

- ei ärritanud silmaümbrust ega muutnud silmi vesiseks

Mis mulle ei meeldinud:

- kui silma sattus, siis oli veidi valus :S

- silmaümbrus jäi peale meigi eemaldamist rasvaseks/õliseks

Kokkuvõttes: hea meigieemaldaja, mis teeb oma töö hästi ära ja kui mul muud valikut ei oleks siis ostaks veel.

So questions & my answers this time:

1. How old are you?
    28

2. Why do you blog?
    I blog because I love blogging :D Ok actually I like to share my opinions and thoughts about beauty products, that I´ve tried and used and I also love reading about other beauty bloggers opinions. I also love doing nail art from time to time and so this gives me a opportunity to show it.

3. What can we find on your blog?
   On my blog there are reviews about beauty products that I´ve tried and used, nail art by me, sometimes some random stuff (travelling, sales on my favourite online stores etc). I also want to do some EOTD and FOTD posts in the future and show my style. But that is all coming in a future.

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
    The first place that come in to my mind is New York, but there are many many more places I want to visit.

5. What do you do for a living?
   I work as a kindergarten teacher.

Water Decals from KKCenterHK & NOTD

In February I was contacted by KKCenterHK and they offered to send me water decals to review. Since I love trying new things then of course I said yes. KKCenterHK is an online store that offers different products: makeup products, wigs and products for nails. They ship worldwide. 

They let me choose water decals to try and I chose these:

And here is photo of mine. I already used one row on my nails when I realised that I still hadn´t taken photo of them :S On the sheet there was 25 images and so here you can see only 20 :P

These water decals took long time to arrive, but I am very very happy that I finally got them. I mean for some reason I´ve always thought that water decals are difficult and messy to use (or maybe the videos on Youtube made me think so) and so when I received them and tried to use them I realised that they are very very easy to use and the quality of these is very good.

So what you need for applying these:

- water
- scissors
- tweezers
- tissue 
- top coat

I try to make a video next time when I use water decals, but basically this is how I applied these water decals
1. I cut the image that I need from the sheet
2. I put it in the water and let it be there around 10 seconds
3. I remove the image very very carefully from the paper and apply it on my nail 
4. with tissue I press the image on my nail a bit so there wouldn´t be any air bubbles or excess water
5. apply top coat

And here is the result:
I love the result. It came out even better than I imagined.

So in conclusion these water decals from KKCenterHK  are just great. They cost $2,64 and I think that they are totally worth the price.

Ma olen millegi pärast alati arvanud, et nende kasutamine on keeruline või noh mul on erinevatest youtube´i videotest selline mulje jäänud. Igatahes on tegelikult neid kasutada väga väga lihtneja tulemus on kena.

Vesikleepsude kasutamiseks läheb vaja siis: kääre, vett, pintsette, salvrätti ja pealislakki

Järgmine kord kui ma neid kasutan, siis üritan ka video sellest teha, aga põhimõtteliselt oli protsess järgmine:

1. lõika sobiv kujund/pilt välja

2. umbes 10 sekundiks pista pilt vette

3. eemalda õrnalt kujund aluspaberilt ja aseta küünele

4. tupsuta salvrätiga õrnalt, et ei jääks õhumulle ja vett

5. lõpuks kanna küünele pealislakk

My opinion about it:

What I like about Aubrey Organics Lip Balm - Peppermint&Tea Tree:

- nice and minty (too minty for some probably). I love the fresh and cooling minty feeling it leaves on my lips.

- peppermint scent

- moisturises and nourishes my lips nicely. Even with the coldest weather my lips were still in perfect condition. 

- goes on smoothly

- price is great (iHerb regular price $2.51)

What I don´t like:

- I´m not very fond of the taste. Sometimes the taste reminds me too much of the tea tree.

In conclusion: I love this lip balm. I lasts quite long time and even with the coldest weather my lips were in perfect condition. Definitely something I would buy again.

- niisutab ja hooldab mu huuli. Isegi kõige külmemate ilmadega olid minu huuled alati kenad ja ei olnud mingeid probleeme.

- mõnus ja lihtne kasutada

- hind on väga hea. (iHerb´i tavaline hind on 2.51$ ehk siis umbes 1,9€)

Mis mulle ei meeldi:

- maitsest ma väga vaimustuses ei ole. Kohati tundub maitses liiga palju teepuuõli.

Kokkuvõttes: Mulle väga väga meeldib see huulepalsam, sest ta kestab kaua ja hooldab mu huuli. Kindlasti on tegu millegagi mida a tulevikus ostaksin.

Spring cleanup on my bathroom shelves

Yesterday I did a little spring cleanup in my bathroom. Why? Because I have too much stuff there. Some of the products have been there too long, I don´t use them and some are even expired and I don´t like to use expired products.

So here is everything that was on my bathroom shelves. Too much or not? To me at the moment it seems too much (we do have very small bathroom :P) 

Eile tegin ma enda vannitoas kevadist suurpuhastust. Miks? Sest mul on liiga palju asju seal :S Mõned toodetest on olnud seal liiga kaua ja ma ei kasuta neid enam ammu ja mõned on suutnud isegi oma tähtaja ületada ja üldiselt ma eelistan tähtaja ületanud tooteid mitte kasutada. 

Pildil on siis näha kõik mis mu vannitoariiulitel oli. Liiga palju või ei? Pilti vaadates tundub, et ikka päris palju kraami on. 

Everything with red cross got thrown out. Most of the products that I had to throw away were just too old already. I still have too many shampoos (5) and so I try not to buy new ones until I have finished at least 3 of them. 

Kõik millel on peal punased ristid viskasin ära. Enamus ära visatust oli juba lihtsalt vanaks läinud. Siiski on mul ikka veel liiga palju šampoone (5) ja seega ma üritan mitte uusi osta enne kui olen vähemalt 3 suutnud lõpuni ära kasutada. 

As you can see then on the photo there are still items that I haven´t reviewed. So there is more reviews coming in next months. 

Nagu fotolt näha on sellel tooteid, millest ma endiselt ei ole jõudnud reviewsid kirjutada nii, et loodan, et lähikuudel jõuan need ka ära kirjutada.

So this is my latest mani. I used two coats of OPI That´s Hot! Pink! and for the dots I wanted to use dark blue stamping polish from Born Pretty Store, but since that had gone weird and very very thick (so I threw it away) and used Barry M Nail Paint in Indigo instead. 

 I´m not very happy with the result because this mani just didn´t come out the way I wanted :(

Fresh Look Eye Cream

 I have had Fresh Look Eye Cream since November. I bought it from Tallinna Kaubamaja and it cost €15.27. Since this is 30ml jar and you only use a small amount then this lasts for a long time and so it is pretty cheap. 

This cream comes with applicator and so it is very convenient to take the cream from the jar. 

What they say about it on the packaging and the ingredients list:

and that's how it looks. It is not heavy and it absorbs nicely without leaving my eye area greasy.

My opinion about the Fresh Look Eye Cream

What I like about it:

- mild scent

- absorbs nicely without leaving my eye area greasy

- very convenient to use because of the applicator

- 30ml jar costs €15.27 

- lasts for a long time

- moisturises well

What I don´t like:

- I have used it for 3,5 months and I can´t really say that I have noticed that the fine lines that I have (yes yes I have them :S) would have diminished

In conclusion: if you have fine lines around your eye area then this probably won´t help diminish them. If you don´t have problems with fine lines then this is nice moisturising product that lasts for a long time.

Kokkuvõttes: Kui sul on silmaümbruses kortsukesed, siis see kreem neid tõenäoliselt eriti ei vähenda. Kui sul probleeme kortsukestega ei ole, siis on tegu väga hea niisutava silmakreemiga, mida jätkub kauaks. 

My Latest Beauty Purchases

So here are my latest beauty buys. I haven´t done much shopping lately - just no mood for it :S
So firstly I needed a new shampoo that would be good when you have problems with dandruff (it just sucks! I have never ever had problems with that and now some days I have :S) and so I decided to try Tšistaja Linija Shampoo with Thistle. I have used it already three times and it is pretty good. 


Siin siis minu viimase aja iluostud. Tegelikult ma ei olegi viimasel ajal midagi eriti ostnud - pole eriti tuju olnud selleks. 
Igatahes kõigepealt siis oli mul vaja uut šampooni, mis oleks kõõmavastane. Mul ei ole kunagi olnud probleeme kõõmaga, aga viimasel ajal aegajalt kahjuks seda siiski esineb. Otsustasin proovida Tšistaja Linija takjašampooni. Olen seda nüüdseks kasutanud 3 korda ja seni tundub see päris hea.

I also needed a new hair mask. I haven´t used drugstore hair care products for quite a long time (except the L´Oreal Elvital Arginine Resist line) and so now I really wanted to try Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Hair Repair mask. I used to use Gliss Kur hair care products about 6 years ago, I think and I loved them back then. 


Vaja oli ka uut juuksemaski. Ma ei ole tavapoodides müüdavaid juuksehooldustooteid enam päris kaua kasutanud (kui välja arvata L´Oreal Elvital Arginine Resist tooted) ja nüüd tuli mul tahtmine proovida Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur juuksemaski (Selveris oli see soodukas ja maksis 5€ kui ma ei eksi). Kunagi, umbes 6 aastat tagasi kasutasin ma Gliss Kur tooteid ja siis mulle need väga meeldisid.

And here is something that was in my Christmas wish list - the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I ordered mine from HQhair.com. It costs £36.00 / € 44.20 there and the shipping was free. Since they offered 20% off from any order then I paid €35.36 for that palette. I haven´t used it, yet, but I will .... soon!

And finally not something beauty related, but just something new. R managed to drop and break my previous Nokia cellphone and so he bought me a new one :P 

Ja lõpuks midagi mitte ilu teemalist, aga lihtsalt uut. R´il õnnestus mu eelmine telefon maha pillata ja selle ekraan ära lõhkuda ja seega ostis ta mulle uue :P

Amazing Shine Cuticle Oil

I have had this Amazing Shine Nail Treatment Cuticle oil since November and so I have used it for pretty long time. Unfortunately I managed to delete my own photos of it from my laptop (stupid me :s) and so here is the photo of the product that I took from Amazing Shine website.

This product is supposed to help to moisturise the sensitive cuticle area and help to prevent skin from splitting if used regularly.

My opinion about it:

What I like about Amazing Shine Cuticle oil:

- scent. It smells like cherry compote. Delicious!

- moisturises nicely and really helps to keep cuticles in good condition if used REGULARLY. I am lazy time to time and so I know that if you use it only once or twice a week (when taking pictures of my nails LOL) then it won´t work.

- the price. I don´t remember anymore how much was it, but I think it was under 5€.

What I don´t like

- might leave hands greasy-oily

In conclusion:

It is nice product, but I think there are better ones out there.

Amazing Shine´i küüneõli ostsin ja juba novembris Tradehouse´st ja olen seda nüüdseks siis päris pikalt juba kasutanud. Kahjuks suutsin ma oma suures udususes (vahel tuleb ette) aga enda tehtud pildid tootest kustutada ja niisiis laenasin pilti Amazing Shine´i kodulehelt. 

Lubaduse järgi peaks aitama see küüneõli niisutada tundliku küüneümbrust ja aidata ennetada küünenahkade narmendamist kui toodet kasutada regulaarselt.

Minu arvamus sellest tootest:

Mis mulle meeldib:

- lõhn. Amazing Shine küüneõli lõhnab nagu kirsikompott. Isuäratav!

- niisutab hästi ja aitab hoida küünenahku heas korras, kui kasutada REGULAARSELT. Ma olen aeg ajalt laisk ja seega ma tean hästi, et kui küüneõli kasutada üks-kaks korda nädalas (kui vaja enda küüsi pildistada) siis tast nii palju abi pole.

- hind. Ma küll täpset hinda ei mäleta, aga ma arvan, et see maksis alla 5€.

Mis mulle ei meeldi:

- võib jätte käed õliseks

Kokkuvõttes:

Normaalne küüneõli, aga ma arvan, et on ka paremaid.

NOTD:

I did some sponging again. 

 I first applied two coats of OPI Alpine Snow and then sponged some Maybelline miniColorama in Green Park on my nails (prefect colour for this spring!). Finally I sponged OPI DS in Coronation on my nails.
