Review: Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap

November 20, 2012 By Leelo

Hi!
Today I have Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap review for you. I ordered this soap from iHerb.com in August and I have used it once a day since I received it in September.
Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap

Information from the packaging:
Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap
Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap
This soap is promised to stimulate circulation and help to discharge toxins. In Spain seaweed soap is even used as part of slimming or anti-cellulite routine. Actually that is why I ordered it and since it was quite inexpensive ($2.88 on iHerb) then I just had to try it.
So when I received it then the first thing that I noticed was the smell of the soap…. in my opinion it stinks :S and my bathroom stunk because of this soap, but don´t let the smell scare you. The soap itself is actually pretty good. Usually bar soaps make my skin very very dry, but this one didn´t. It made my skin squeaky clean, but not unpleasantly dry. As you can see on the first photo then this soap contains darker particles. These particles are quite harsh and if you have more sensitive skin then these might hurt. When it comes to this soap´s exfoliating properties then I don´t have anything bad to say. It exfoliated my skin nicely and left it nice and smooth.
When it comes to its slimming properties and reducing cellulite then I didn´t notice much difference during the 1,5 months I used the soap. Maybe I just didn´t use it long enough.

Likes & dislikes
What I liked
– exfoliates
– makes skin squeaky clean without making it unpleasantly dry
– skin feels nice and smooth
– natural
– inexpensive

What I didn´t like
– the scent :S
– soap contains darker particles that might be too harsh for sensitive skin

Would I buy it again?
Actually I would, because I just LOVED the way my skin was smooth and not dry after using this soap. And there is always hope that if I use it longer period of time maybe it would help reduce cellulite 😛

If you haven´t ordered from iHerb.com before then with code ROH837 you can save $5 from your very first order!
