Dermosil Lipgloss in Venetian Red

I got some Dermoshop makeup samples: Dermosil Lip Gloss, foundation, primer and tinted moisturiser. All these are their new products which will be available from September 1. Yesterday I tried their tinted moisturiser and lip gloss.

So the lip gloss:

The lip gloss comes in 4 shades: Classic Rose, Warm Chestnut, Rich Carmine and Venetian Red. Classic Rose and Rich Carmine contain sparkles. My sample is in Venetian Red. I´m not really a red person (I think), but this shade looked pretty nice on my lips.

They promise in Dermoshop magazine that these lip glosses moisturise and give nice natural luster to your lips. They have nice decent scent and taste. When applying it on your lips the lip gloss is smooth and creamy. These lip glosses are promised to be non-sticky.

My opinion:
So I tried the lip gloss sample today and I like it. It gave my lips nice colour (not as red as in package or on the swatch) and decent shine. The colour and gloss lasted quite long - even after drinking tea and eating a sandwich it hadn´t totally faded. It moisturised my lips nicely. I didn´t notice any smell or taste and as promised it isn´t sticky. I think I would like to try full-size Dermosil Lip Gloss in Classic Rose, too.

Niisiis sain üleeile Dermoshopi ajakirja vahel mõned nende uute toodete testrid ( huuleläige, tooniv päevakreem, jumestuskreem, aluskreem). Neid tooteid saab Dermoshopi lehelt osta alates 1.septembrist. Eile katsetasin Dermosili huuleläiget ja toonivat päevakreemi.
Ajakirjas lubatakse, et Dermosili huuleläige annab huultele suurepärase läike ja värvi ning niisutab neid. Toonideks on Classic Rose, Warm Chestnut, Rich Carmine, Venetian Red. Classic Rose ja Rich Carmin sisaldavad sädelevaid osakesi. Huuleläigetel on õrn lõhn ja maitse.

Minu arvamus:
Mulle jättis Dermosili huuleläige väga hea mulje. Ta andis mu huultele värvi ja läiget, mis püsis päris kaua. Isegi peale joomist-söömist ei olnud kogu huuleläige kadunud. Samuti niisutas ta neid mõnusalt. Mis mulle väga meeldis oli see, et see huuleläige ei olnud kleepuv. Kokkuvõttes tahaks ma ära proovida tooni Classic Rose, nii et tuleb siis kunagi üks Dermoshopi tellimus teha.

UPDATE: e.l.f. Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF15

So in June I reviewed e.l.f. Super Glossy Lip Shines SPF15. You can read my opinions and see the swatches HERE. And now, 2 months later, I have problems with them. No no... the product itself is perfectly fine. I have problems with the packing and as I have read some other users have had the same problem with the tube. So the problem is that after some time using it (few weeks or couple of months) the top of the tube comes halfway off and so the product squeezes out the neck instead of the top and so you can´t use it anymore. I wouldn´t have made this post if this had happened only with one of the Super Glossy Lip Shine tube, but yesterday I discovered that the other one was broken, too. 

So there is the hole

and if I want to use the product and squeese the tube the lipgloss comes from that hole.

Juunis tegin väikese ülevaate kahest e.l.f´i huuleläikest, mida võid lugeda SIIT. Nüüd, kaks kuud hiljem on mul aga tekkinud probleemid seoses nende huuleläigetega. Täpsemalt siis nende pakenditega. Olen lugenud, et samu probleeme on esinenud ka teistel kasutajatel. Probleem seisneb siis selles, et peale mõnda aega kasutamist ( mõned nädalad või paar kuud) tahab tuubi ots maha tulla st sinna tekib auk/pragu ja seega hakkab huuleläige sealt august/praost välja tulema, mitte aga tuubi otsast ja seega polegi tootega enam midagi muud teha kui ära visata. Ma ei oleks tegelikult seda postitust kirjutanudki, aga kuna minu mõlema e.l.f.´i huuleläike tuubid läksid katki, siis sellepärast ka see postitus.

Esprit & ASOS hauls

I did some serious shopping 1,5 week ago and on Friday I received some of the stuff I had ordered.
I already wrote a blog post about what I ordered from ASOS. I got my Fiorelli handbag on Friday. I love it! It is very simple so it goes with most of my outfits. It is big enogh to hold all my essential things (wallet, notebook, some makeup, water bottle etc) + other stuff.

And now i´m waiting for my Fossil watch. I hope it will arrive soon. 


Also I got stuff I had ordered from Esprit. I love Esprit clothes. And so from Esprit sale I ordered two jumpers and also a cotton scarf.

 Scarf is partially printed with silver sequins.

 And two very similar jumpers. They are perfect for everyday wear at work with jeans or black pants.

NOTD: Something summery

 I didn´t have any rhinestones so I made a just a little dot using e.l.f nail polish in Golden Goddess.

Two New Maybelline Nail Polishes

Today I bought two new Maybelline mini Colorama nail polishes from Selver. They were cheap (€ 1.50 each).

I like both of these nail polishes. The colour are very pretty. Marshmallow is pretty pearly white and Candy Apple is lovely dark red.

Non-Beauty related: Rummu Hillclimb 2011

Yesterday I and "R" went to see Rummu Hillclimb. I haven´t ever been in such event and so it was very interesting and different for me. So here are some pics I made there. 

While taking photos there, I discovered that I do need a new and better camera!!! The one I have at the moment ( Sony Cybershot DSC-W150) is an ok digital compact camera, but sometimes I just need something better.

My pink nail polishes

First of all I got my 10 Round Clear Nail Art Display Practise Wheels yesterday that I had ordered 2 weeks ago from ebay.
 












So when I showed you my three e.l.f nail polishes then I promised to show the L´Oreal Resist&Shine Titanium Nail Polish in Candy Pink 106 which reminded e.l.f nail polish in Fluorescent Pink and since I was doing these swatches I decided to show you rest of my pink nail polishes too. I don´t have very many of them -  only 7 at the moment ( but I think i will buy some more soon).

So my pink nail polishes from L-R:

So after swatching I discovered that Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color in Flashy Fuchsia 220 and Carlo di Roma nail polish no 40 looks very very similar. But the coverage of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri is much better and also it stays on my nails quite well. As I guessed e.l.f Nail Polish in Fluorescent Pink is bit darker than L´Oreal Resist&Shine Titanium Nail Polish in Candy Pink 106. Also e.l.f.´s nail polish stays on longer than this L´Oreal polish. Oriflame nail polish in Baby pink looks very similar to Nivea Calcium Power in Mermaid 24. Oriflame nail polish has this slightly bluish shine. I´m not very fond of the Nivea nail polish. The shade is ok, but it doesn´t stay on very long (2 days maximum in my case).
 

and then there is this Carlo di Roma nail polish 19 that looks  like pearl white in the bottle, but on nails it looks more like light sheer pink.

De Lorenzo Infinite Leave in Detangler

I already reviewed De Lorenzo Moisture Balance Shampoo and Intense Moisture Conditioner HERE and here comes my opinion about De Lorenzo Infinite Leave in Detangler. I´ve been using it more than a month and i´m not very impressed by it. I have highlighted hair (last highlighted in May ie 3 months ago) and there is probably some sun damage.

My opinion:
I´m not very fond of this product. I´ve been using it for more than a month. De Lorenzo detangler didn´t make my hair easier to comb through especially if I used it after De Lorenzo Moisture Balance Shampoo and Conditioner. If I tried other shampoos or conditioners then it worked little bit better, but not much. At first I tried it as it is recommended: spray on damp hair and comb through. It didn´t work. It wasn´t easier to comb my hair and it didn´t help remove tangles . Then I sprayed it on damp hair and waited when they got dry and tried to comb them through - it worked bit better, but not much. I also tried to spray it on dry hair and then comb them through..... Nothing! The only normal thing about this product is the smell.

See De Lorenzo juustesse jäetav sprei peaks hõlbustama juuste pusade lahti harutamist ja juuste kammimist. Aga kahjuks ei töötanud see toode minu puhul nii nagu peaks. Kõigepealt kasutasin ma seda nii nagu ettenähtud: pihustasin niisketele juustele peale pesu ja kammisin siis läbi - ei olnud võimalik juukseid kammida pusad olid jubedad :(   Siis proovisin sellist varianti, et pihustasin märgadele juustele aga enne kammima ei hakanud kui juuksed kuivad olid - tulemus oli veidi parem. Katsetasin ka sellist varianti, et pihustasingi toodet juba kuivadele juustele ja  proovisin alles siis kammida. Ei midagi paremat. Muide kõige hullem tundus asi siis kui kasutasin ka De Lorenzo niisuatavad šampooni ja palsamit. Kui kasutasin teiste firmade tooteid oli asi veidi parem. Aga jah kokkuvõttes on selle toote juures ainus enamvähem ok asi lõhn.

e.l.f Mineral Infused Mascara

I have used e.l.f Mineral Infused Mascara for a week and it is much better then e.l.f Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara. Their prices are same (both £3.50) but Mineral Infused Mascara´s quality seems much better.

Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, PVP, Triethanolamine, Triacontanyl PVP, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate.

What they say about it on their homepage:
Mineral Infused Mascara creates fuller, healthier looking lashes. It enhances lashes for a naturally thicker and more volumized look. The long-wear formula and unique silicone brush creates clump free and defined lashes that last all day.

My opinion:
As I said I like this mascara better then e.l.f. Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara. I like this mascara´s silicone brush. It separates lashes nicely and coats them evenly. 

Also this mascara doesn´t clump. It smudges a bit when applying it (especially when i´m applying it to my lower eyelashes). Even after a long day it doesn´t flake. At first the scent of this mascara seemed bit weird to me, but now I´ve used to it. This mascara gives some length to my lashes, but I didn´t notice any volume or thickness. I guess this mascara is perfect for daytime, when you need more natural look. For dramatic results this mascara isn´t enough. How about removing it? I´ve read some users opinions that it is hard to remove. In my opinion it removes easily ( I tried Earth Science Eye Makeup Remover with Chamomile & Green Tea , Cils Demasq makeup remover by Gemey-Maybelline and L´Oreal Dermo Expertise Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover).

Wet´n´Wild Eyeshadow Trio Walking on Eggshells

This is my third W´n´W eyeshadow trio (you can find previous reviews and swatches HERE and HERE) and this is my favourite. I´ve been using it almost every day. The reason for that is that it looks quite natural and since I can´t wear very heavy makeup daily then this is perfect for my everyday look.

See siis on minu kolmas Wet´n´Wildi lauvärvitrio. Eelmiste näidised leiad SIIT ja SIIT. See lauvärvi palett on mu lemmik ja ma kasutan seda peaaegu iga päev, sest sellega saavutan ma kena loomuliku tulemuse, mis on minu meelest väga hea igapäevaseks kasutamiseks.

And here are the swatches. The system is the same as was with the other two W´n´W eyeshadow trio reviews: first swatch is made without primer and the second one is done with e.l.f. Eyelid Primer.And again you can see difference: swatches done with primer are much more intensive.


Ja siin on siis näidised. Süsteem on sama mis eelmistelgi ehk siis esimene näidis on tehtud ilma primerita ja teine on tehtud e.l.f. primeriga. Ja nagu näha on primeriga tulemus tunduvalt intensiivsem.

In conclusion I really really like these W´n´W eyeshadow trios. And i would really like to try rest of these trios. These eyeshadows´ formula is soft and well pigmented. It is very easy to apply and blend. It stays on all day (for example yesterday Walking on Eggshells stayed more than 13 hours without fading or creasing. They are very easy to remove with eye makeup remover and they don´t irritate my eyes.

Kokkuvõttes mulle väga väga väga meeldivad need W´n´W lauvärvipaletid ja ma tahaks proovida ka teisi selle sarja lauvärvitriosid. Need lauvärvid on mõnusalt pehme konsistentisga. Neid on lihtne peale kanda ja hajutada. Nad püsivad peal terve päeva (eile nt üle 13tunni) ilma, et nad tuhmuks või kaoks. Eemaldada on neid samuti lihtne kasutades silmameigieemaldajat ja nad ei ärrida mu silmi.
