The worst beauty products I used in 2011

I have mentioned some of my this years favourite products HERE, but now I would also like to share the products that I didn´t like.

Oriflame Waterproof Eye makeup Remover (the old version)
I did a short review about it here, but it is in Estonian only.
I really hated this eye makeup remover. It  hurt my eyes and  left my face greasy. Very bad product. (The good news is that they improved its formula and now its much better)
Nivea Visage Makeup Remover
i haven´t reviewed this in my blog and I won´t either, but I totally hate this. It doesn´t remove anything and it is not gentle – it made my eyes itchy and red and so this is the worst eye makeup remover I have ever used!
e.l.f. nail polish in white
I reviewed this nail polish HERE. In that post I wasn´t very critical, but now I have used this nail polish more (HERE and HERE) and I don´t like it. I have to apply at least 3 coats for opacity and it dries forever. This is one of those nail polishes that I would not purchase again.

De Lorenzo Infinite Leave in Detangler
I reviewed it HERE and there is really nothing else to say about it!

Oriflame Beauty 2FX Mascara
I reviewed it in my blog, but unfortunately this review is in Estonian only. I have complained about this mascara more than once. This was bad mascara. It didn´t do anything that Oriflame promised and it irritated my eyes.

Oriflame Pure Balance Dry Shampoo
I can read the review about it HERE. It didn´t make my hair look cleaner and no matter how much I brushed or combed my hair after using it I still saw it in my hair :S

Neal´s Yard Remedies Eye Liner Pencil
You can read my review about it HERE. I didn´t like it because it wasn´t soft at all and it was very difficult to apply and it didn´t last long.

And thats it!

What were the products you didn´t like in 2011?

I am one of those lucky girls who doesnt´have to wear glasses, YET, but my uncle has worn eyeglasses since the age of 10 and about 12 years ago my mom also had to start wearing them. So I know that eyeglasses aren´t cheap, especially if you want high quality frames and lenses. There are many different stores and online stores, but the prices are quite high everywhere.

Anyway couple of days ago I came across with GlassesUSA They sell eyeglasses online. From that website you can find prescription eyeglasses for both men and women and also prescription sunglasses. They offer high quality frames and lenses. They also offer lowest price guarantee and a satisfaction guarantee along with a generous refer-a-friend program.

Also great about GlassesUSA is that they ship worldwide, so you can buy glasses no matter where you are located. They offer wide selection of frames from retro to designer so it is quite difficult to decide what to order.

I have visited some similar sites , but what really got my attention was how simple it was to navigate on It is easy to shop eyeglasses by frame type, shape, style, size, material, lens type or view the Deals of the Week.

One of my favourite thing about GlassesUSA website is that they have a virtual mirror. You can try there different eyeglasses either on your own photo that you can upload or take with your webcam or try them on some of their database photos. That is just great! I have seen these virtual mirrors on some other websites also, but many of those doesn´t want to work well, but this one does!

I tried some different glasses on my photo and here are some smples of it (the photo I used isn´t the best :P)

You can stay up-to-date on all GlassesUSA happenings through their Facebook page ( and their Twitter feed (@GlassesUSA)

They are having their Post Holiday sale:
To get 50% off any pair of prescription eyeglasses from their entire collection (basic single-vision lenses included) use code WINTER50
To get 10% off any order of prescription glasses use code BLOG10

*GlassesUSA sponsored this blog post, but I shared here MY OWN opinion about the website.
